Professional Preparation
Includes study of wine-producing countries, French wines with an overview of European vineyards, cultivation techniques, climate, terroir, producers, professional tasting sessions and wine fairs.
Food and wine pairing workshops connect gastronomy and wine. Wine lectures involve sommeliers, wine brokers, winemakers, lecturers and wine merchants.
Students develop professional projects with guidance from experts in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, logistics, art, legislation and wine tourism.
Students who satisfy the marketing, legislation and wine tourism module criteria may receive the University Diploma (DU) “Wine Culture Heritage and Tourism” delivered by the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA).
From March to June, the programme document describes a 16-week internship in a wine-related establishment connected with the student’s professional project.
